DON'T MISS OUT THIS SUMMER!

Summer Saturdays are three unique learning experiences designed to help you go deeper in your faith and understanding of important topics.
Each session is structured like a classroom environment, giving participants the opportunity to spend three focused hours exploring a specific subject through teaching, discussion, and practical application.

Whether you attend one session or all three, each Summer Saturday stands on its own, so you can choose the topics that interest you most. No prior attendance is required.

A light breakfast with coffee and donuts will be provided. Childcare will also be available, but space is limited, so RSVPs are essential to reserve a spot for your child.

Our goal is simple: to help you leave each session having learned more, grown deeper, and gained practical tools you can apply in everyday life.

JULY 18 - APOLOGETICS

adam pond

Adam’s interest in Christian apologetics began in 2017 as he sought to better understand and defend his faith. Through years of study and engagement in public discussions, he became convinced that Christianity rests on a strong foundation of historical evidence, philosophical reasoning, and theological truth. His passion is helping believers confidently and graciously articulate their faith while faithfully sharing the gospel.

As a husband and father, Adam sees apologetics as an important part of discipleship, equipping both current and future generations to stand firm in an increasingly secular culture. He has devoted thousands of hours to studying theology, biblical reliability, philosophy, ethics, and history, and is passionate about helping Christians think critically and give a reasoned defense for the hope they have in Christ.

JULY 25TH - THEOLOGY

PASTOR GARRETT

Garrett Martin serves as the Associate Pastor at Christ Community Church in Mooresville, where he has been on staff in various roles since 2020. After coming to faith in high school, Garrett studied theology at Southeastern University and began his ministry journey at The Refuge Church in Kannapolis, serving there for six years before gaining additional experience in evangelism and ministry leadership.

Garrett later joined Christ Community Church full-time and now serves as Associate Pastor. With nearly 15 years of ministry experience, he is passionate about helping people grow in their faith and remains committed to lifelong learning. Outside of ministry, Garrett enjoys working out, drinking coffee, and spending time with his wife, Kristyn, and their growing family.
