We are seeking Director of Assimilation candidates who wholeheartedly support CCCM’s purpose and vision, and who can effectively assimilate church members into community life and service at CCCM.

The Director of Assimilation, a critical position at CCCM, will be responsible for helping shape the strategic plan – and then implementing that plan – that provides a welcoming and effective pathway for people to connect with and engage in CCCM’s ministries and programs, all of which will enable them To Know Christ, Love Through Community, and Live As The Church.

We expect the successful candidate to be someone who:

· Is personable and outgoing;

· Makes friends easily;

· Can remember names and details about individuals that lead to meaningful conversations;

· Is an “encourager” who is gifted at connecting people and recruiting volunteers;

· Has strong administration skills and great attention to detail;

· Can create and implement big vision programs;

· Is an excellent communicator – both written and verbal;

· Has strong phone skills;

· Is proficient in Microsoft Word (or similar) and Excel (or similar);

· Is confident with Email/Social Media interactions and

· Because of CCCM’s demographics, is fluent in Spanish (preferred, not required)

The Assimilation Director is responsible for the administration of programs and activities relating to:

· New Believers;

· New Members;

· First-Time Guests;

· Baptisms and Child Dedications;

· Connect Card Respondents;

· Next Steps Class Registrants;

· Volunteers; and

· Follow-up with outreach event participants (such as Harvest Fest and Picture Perfect)

This position is part-time at 20 hours per week. The Assimilation Director is required to work most Sundays at both services.

The Assimilation Director is responsible for the effective administration of these Ministry Teams:

· Greeting

· Connection

· Coffee

· Parking

· Children’s Check-In
